Job Description:
Design Engineer Cryogenic AND HYSYS experience Fantastic Benefits and Relocation Package Leap29 are actively recruiting on behalf of a leading cryogenics company who are seeking a Design Engineer with extensive LNG, Design, Drawing and Forecasting to join their growing team based in California. Working as an integral part of the engineering team the successful design engineer will be responsible for the generation and accuracy of calculations required for the design of components and systems for the business. Alongside this they will be coordinating engineering work, monitoring compliance and be expected to have sufficient technical knowledge and awareness to identify faults and irradiate issues throughout design stages. Furthermore the design engineer will be responsible for but not limited to: All design and specifications of pump components and systems to meet external client requirements Coordination, generation and checking of engineering deliverables Be the lead for project design and drawing schedules including status reports and forecasting monthly to internal stakeholders The successful Project Engineer must have a minimum of 5 years engineering experience with a string technical background in Design, LNG and / or Cryogenics Alongside this the successful candidate must have: BSc in Engineering 5 - 8 years industry experience Experience of working with rotating equipment for pumps, generators etc Experience of working with and leading multi-disciplined engineers Strong knowledge and background of AutoCAD, SolidWorks or 3D Modelling and FEA and/ or CFD Strong understanding and knowledge of LNG, LPG or Cryogenics Familiarity with Mechnical Calculations, Component Stress, Loading and Fastener Joints In return my client are offering a highly lucrative package including a competitive salary, 401k and relocations costs.
