Job Description:
The HSE Specialist is responsible for supporting local management in establishing and continuously improving HSE culture within the worksite. Fully competent to manage HSE at the location including planning, coaching the employees and junior HSE team members. The position reports functionally to the Geomarket/Location HSE Manager. Successful HSE Specialists are excellent communicators, enjoy solving problems, and work well in teams. Responsibilities * Develops managers' awareness and ensure HSE is an integral part of line management responsibilities and objectives; * Assists line management in implementing and maintaining an HSE management system; * Coordinates and actively participates in the screening and HSE training of all personnel, including contractors; * Keeps up-to-date with new documentation and training material related to HSE; * Advises management on the level of compliance with the local HSE program for Schlumberger, local and national requirements/regulations of the host country; * Actively monitors on HSE reports and facilitates Loss Prevention Team meetings, HSE audits; * Supports line management in investigations of failures and accidents; * Develops and maintains a high level of awareness among all personnel through communications, training, and promotes active involvement of employees in HSE; * Analyzes HSE trends for the location and recommends improvements to the HSE program. Qualifications * Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field such as Occupational health & safety, Environmental science/management; * At least 3 years' experience as an HSE specialist; * Native-level Russian language; * English language - Intermediate and higher.
