JOB SCOPE:
Coordinate purchasing and maintain inventory control on incoming and out-going parts for repairs, maintenance and shipping for shop and field jobs.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Communicate and coordinate with all appropriate managers and supervisors for the purchase of all materials and services for the repair, or manufacture, of WEATHERFORD UBS or Production Equipment, both in the shop and in the field.
Proper accounting of all purchased goods and services using established accounting procedures for coding, distribution and recording.
Open, record and maintain repair orders and all goods and services purchased for them.
Maintain inventory database by continually updating pertinent information with regard to cost changes, stocking levels, on hand quantities and consumption (usage).
Coordinate physical inventory of shop and field inventories, as required, using established and approved procedures.
Prepare and present inventory reports gathered from a physical inventory when taken.
Coordinate with the Inventory Supervisor on the purchase of all goods and services for approved PO,
Know and understand Weatherford Quality Policy and comply with all requirements of the Quality Systems Manual, Operating and Technical Procedures and Workplace Instructions.
Must understand and comply with all safety rules and company policies of Weatherford.
Work assignments carried out to the highest quality level.
Perform various other duties and activities as assigned by supervisor within the physical constraints of the job.
SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:
Good verbal and written communication skills
Functional computer skills in Microsoft Word and Excel
2-3 years experience in purchasing and inventory control
General knowledge of purchasing, inventory control, shipping, and receiving
High School Diploma or High Education
The physical ability to immediately respond to emergency situations.
Preferred:
Experience with oilfield related parts
Forklift Experience
