Assistant Terminal Supervisor Faststream Recruitment is the global leader in Maritime staffing and recruitment providing our clients with permanent, temporary and project based solutions. Faststream has partnered with a Maritime industry leader that is looking for an Assistant Terminal Supervisor to help manage the operations in the Port of Burns Harbor. Faststream's Assistant Terminal Supervisor vacancy pays approximately $40K per year based on experience plus excellent benefits and a bonus. Responsibilities of the Assistant Terminal Supervisor role include: Assist the Operations Manager with any special projects as needed Supervise and coordinate all stevedoring activities of hourly employees engaged in the loading and unloading of cargoes as well as daily terminal activity Work with the Safety Manager to promote and enforce company safety policy and OSHA regulations Regularly communicate and coordinate with customer and/or customer representatives in regards to their cargo concerns and any special requirements. Requirements of the Assistant Terminal Supervisor role are as follow: Must be flexible to work nights, weekends, holidays, etc. as needed Bachelor's Degree highly preferred Prior Marine Operations and/or Stevedoring experience preferred Warehouse and inventory control management experience required Ability to perform in a high productivity environment Must have the right to work in the United States.
