Spencer Ogden is actively seeking to recruit an Ocean & Coastal Engineer with experience in marine construction projects such as: fixed and floating docks, marinas, shore stabilization, flushing and transport modeling, coastal construction, seawall conditions assessments and coastal design, environmental resource permitting, and riprap revetments. The successful candidate can expect rapid career progression to a Project Management position and possible part-company ownership in the future.

Responsibilities
-design of coastal and waterfront projects
-managing construction
-coordinate with Principal and Sr. Engineering staff regarding project development, client management, and construction administration
-Procure future projects, collect field information, prepare construction plans and specifications

Requirements
-BS, Coastal or Ocean Engineering, MS preferred
-PE license or ability to obtain PE within 6 months, preferred
-Experience with construction observation, contract mangement, shore protection, and compliance reporting
-Concrete and steel design experience, preferred
-Software: AutoCAD, Pile Buck Design SPW911, FEMA's Coastal Analysis Modeling Program
