Job Description Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to construction management, inspection, contract administration, client interaction, construction contractor coordination, pre-construction planning, project controls, scheduling, cost control, and close-out for combinations of the following project types: - natural gas pipelines - facilities - liquids - transmission - gathering - midstream - treatment Candidate Specification The ideal candidate will possess the following: - 10 to 15 years of construction management experience in one or more of the following project types: natural gas pipeline, facilities, liquids, transmission, gathering, midstream and treatment - Strong project management, QA/QC, coordination, interpersonal, communication, documentation, and technical skills are required - Proficiency in the following skills are required: project reporting, budgeting, cost estimating, scheduling, invoice reconciliation, risk management, documentation/data management, and project close-out - Must have comprehensive knowledge of current design and construction principles combined with knowledge of construction management practices, including familiarity with construction law, contract administration, and claims management - Demonstrated experience with construction engineering, construction contract development and enforcement, construction safety and quality control processes, and construction documentation - Possess sound judgment; highly developed management, organizational, interpersonal, presentation/training, oral and written communication skills; excellent analytical and problem solving skills - Demonstrated ability to manage and work with multi-disciplined teams, deal with complex issues, and maintain effective working relationships - Ability to prepare and interpret complex reports, recognize problems, and define and evaluate solutions - Demonstrated negotiation and mediation skills are required for the successful resolution of complex construction and engineering claims - Areas of expertise and services include: construction engineering; construction safety; construction contract administration; construction quality assurance, and construction inspection - Pre-construction pipeline route/site selection and field engineering experience preferred *All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, protected veteran status, or disability status.*
