
DEMOLITION PROJECT DESIGNER
MUST HAVE AN ENGINEERING DEGREE AND MUST HAVE DEMOLITION DESIGN EXPERIENCE
. Autocad is a must and Cadworx would be a plus.
- Walkthrough demolition project during preliminary review with operations and demo project personnel.
- Research and pull drawings for P&ID's, Plot Plans, equipment, piping plans and details, piping isometrics, electrical layout, instrument loops, instrument panels, schematics, and civil/structural drawings.
- Walkdown and mark up drawings to show equipment to be removed, piping cut/disconnect points, instruments to be removed, instrument and power conduit disconnect points, and foundations to be removed. Mark drawing discrepancies for as-built updates as necessary. Take photos as necessary to be used in preparing the demolition package.
- Prepare demolition project drawings/documents, manual and cad drafting, and photo markups. Use electronic media for final package preparation. Scan in manual drawings and mark up using Adobe Pro or equivalent software.
- Create demo equipment list, line list, relief valve list, instrument list and drawing list and place in Project Description document.
- Keep all demolition project drawings, documents, and supporting information stored in the appropriate folder under the project directory. Maintain standardized folder structure.
- Prepare demo package as Adobe files, one each for MF drawings, I/E drawings & documents, Piping/Mechanical drawings and documents, and Civil/Structural drawings and documents. Place Adobe files in the project's IFA folder.
- Attend project MOC Impact review meeting and provide input on demolition design and drawing issues.
- Make changes as required after IFA and MOC comments are returned and place final pdf files in IFC folder.
