The Process Engineer is responsible for all matters pertaining to design and certification and of hydrocarbon processing facilities operated by Company. This includes the ability to interpret customer specifications as related to system requirements into functional documentation, while verifying compliance with applicable standards. He/she should also have had experience and understanding of process design software, cause and effect diagrams, P&IDs, and field engineering operational experience on offshore processing facilities.
Responsibilities
• Technical assurance and asset integrity for all process areas with full cognizance of applicable codes and standards
• Process Engineering technical support for developing projects
• Represent projects at internal functional and readiness reviews and meetings.
• Review project design deliverables and follow up on comments to ensure they are suitably incorporated.
• Prepare technical and progress reports to support flow of key information to management to assist decision making.
• Capture and distribute Lessons Learned
• Prepare technical and progress reports to support flow of key information to assist in decision making.
• As a member of the Engineering Team, be pro-active in performing tasks necessary to make projects successful.
• Provide on-board technical field engineering support to the operations team during deployment exercises or active response as and when required

• Competent in engineering design and documentation
• Comprehensive understanding of field of expertise standards 30CFR SEMS, API RP14c

• Excellent computer skills with MS Office Suite, particularly Excel spreadsheets

Minimum Requirements

• Must have 10 years or more offshore experience, preferably in upstream projects- topsides, FPSOs
• Proficiency in process analysis software such as: ProMax, CHEMCAD, HYSYS
• Basic knowledge of competing and alternative technologies.
• Ability to independently create functional and cost effective designs that meet complex requirements.
• Regularly assigned technical responsibility for existing active processing facilities
• Experience in coaching, teaching, and advising process operators
• Minimum ten years relevant experience in assigned technical field.

Education:
• BS in Chemical Engineering
• Must have Texas P.E. License
