Job Description:
Our client, specializing in commercial and industrial electrical services, is seeking an experienced Sales Engineer with advanced PLC programming knowledge to cover their regional Houston customer base. This person will be responsible for leading and providing technical expertise to the sales/support team. You will assist customers not only via phone/internet with orders, but visit their locations, troubleshoot the issues, and provide them a solution. Our client wants you to not only manage their current customer base, but find opportunities to expand into other customers as well. You must have a high level of mechanical and technical aptitude. Must be incredibly customer service oriented, as well as proficient in MS Word, Bid Manager and similar programs. You must have a working knowledge of SAP, AutoCAD, ladder diagrams, PLC programming, etc. PE preferred Bachelors in technical field strongly preferred Pay range is 100-130k DOE.
