The Internal Control Compliance Analyst will support the Enterprise Products' compliance process. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Leading meetings with business teams to ensure that best practices are applied in process design reviews.
- Flowcharting of business processes within and across departments.
- Identifying control weaknesses and recommending risk mitigation strategies.
- Evaluating internal control procedures and recommending new processes and/or controls.
- Analyzing control failures and preparation of remediation plans.
- Participating in the control remediation process with business process owners.
- Assisting with the identification of suitable compensating/mitigating controls that lower audit risks and the impact to the financial statements.
- Keeping up to date on new Sarbanes-Oxley requirements and guidance (including PCAOB staff alerts).
- Participating in system implementations by assisting in the design of financial and IT processes, including development of internal controls and evaluation of control environment.
- Assisting with the development and use of custom built internal control systems.
