Measurement Systems is looking for an energetic, Application Engineer that will help design, coordinate, and manage product development and product maintenance at Measurement Systems (Coraopolis location). The Engineer is to ensure that Measurement Systems produces the highest accuracy and highest quality/reliability flow/ultrasonic meters in the market at the most competitive costs. The Engineer will strive to work within budget, to meet or exceed the customer's requirements as stated in agreed specifications and applicable standards.
* Support the Sales Team, providing design and technical expertise to ensure accurate quotations, control expenditures within limitations of project budget
* Review requirements to determine product design.
* Interpret technical requirements and incorporate them into the product.
* Prepare and maintain Project Plans.
* Support project engineering for application and performance design review.
* Conduct/direct experiments to validate meter performance designs.
* Communicate with corporate engineering when CFD, pressure vessel analyses or other outside engineering tasks are needed.
* If situations arise, to supervise, and perform the installation and commissioning of Cameron products.
* Conduct effective communication with customers.
* Analyze data from installed products to verify that their performance is acceptable.
* Prepare written material for specifications and technical manuals covering Cameron products.
* Document design analyses with calculation, lab reports and engineering reports.
* Prepare and review technical documents, reports, and drawings.
* Interface with the manufacturing department to ensure the quality and operation of the products.
* Synthesize complex or diverse information. Understanding as to how to collect data and research solutions.
* Provide positive customer service attitude
* Organize, prioritize multiple projects while maintaining accurate records
* Strong aptitude for detail.
* Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced and changing environment.
* Make decisions regarding design and the consequences associated with these decisions.
* BS degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
* 5+ years of experience
* Willingness for occasional travel
* Flexible work hours in case of emergencies, including weekends and evenings.
* Confident communicator
* Excellent written and oral communication skills.
* Excellent computer skills including Word and Excel, etc.
* High analytical skills with excellent academic record
