Job Description:
I/E Engineer - LNG Operator - Houston, Texas My client, an established and global operator, are currently in the process of hiring an I/E Engineer to work on a major LNG project in the US. Based primarily out of the contractor's office, this candidate will primarily monitor the design work of the assignment EPC company for this project. This is a permanent position to start immediately offering an excellent compensation package. Key Responsibilities: Will have experience with Siemens Gas Turbine equipment. Highly knowledge Distributed Controls Systems (DCS). Responsible for producing engineering standards and specifications as well as working to continuously improvement the technical content of bidding, business case justification, estimating, Project Management. Developing reliable and accurate cost estimates for design services and for constructed costs of I&E scopes of work. Be responsible for Specification and Selection. Determining the specification of flow and tank level measurement systems, Programmable Logic Controllers, Distributed Control Systems, access control systems, Terminal Management Systems , control valves, motor controllers, safety controls, ESD, tank overfill protection, etc. Input and Output Management. Managing the Inputs/Outputs (I/O) from field devices to control hardware. Sizing Selection and Specification Oversight. Overseeing the sizing, selection and specifications of transformers, medium-voltage and low-voltage distribution systems and variable frequency drives, motor control centers, high voltage distribution (overhead and underground) and switchgear, electric motors, etc. Experience & Qualifications: 20 years of I/E experience working with the Oil & Gas industry. Must have experience of working on LNG projects. Owner/Operator experience. Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field required. A valid US work permit.
