Generator Excitation Field Engineer Location: Remotely based/project travel Reports To: Service Manager USA/Canada Company Overview: Our client is a leading provider of turbine and compressor service solutions in the Power Generation and Oil & Gas industries. Position Overview: The Excitation Engineer will provide technical installations, perform maintenance/repairs, as well as provide troubleshooting on Turbine Excitation systems, digital electronic starters, and digital generator protection systems for gas and steam turbines located in a variety of industrial environments across the US and some global locations Qualifications: • Minimum of 1.5 years of Controls installations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair experience on GE EX2100, EX2100e, LS2100, and LS2100e control systems, and/or Non-GE excitation\voltage regulator equipment
