JOB DUTIES: Collaborate with engineering, finance, sales and services teams in the development of new products as well as the product life cycle management for assigned products. Responsible for Landmark's IM and platform technology products (including DecisionSpace® Integration Server, OpenWorks, Recall, DecisionSpace® Analytics, DecisionSpace® Data Quality etc.) which currently have revenues of $90M annually. Lead preparation of overall business strategy, investment model, and vision and scope of the product. Assist sales and operation in the rollout training and success of their products. Create technical, business and marketing content related to product and market solutions. Develop industry, vendor partnerships with internal and external customers, third parties, and industry thought leaders. Perform competitive analysis to differentiate products and solutions. Ensure packaging, pricing, and marketing of product families. Gain budget approval and drive product revenues. Participate in industry associations, organizations and consortiums, including attending events and contributing to publications. Up to 20% travel within the US and internationally to potential and existing customers as well as industry trade shows and conferences.
REQUIREMENTS Master's Degree (or foreign equivalent) in Geology, Engineering Geology, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Petroleum Engineering and 5 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. OR Bachelor's Degree (or foreign equivalent) in Geology, Engineering Geology, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Petroleum Engineering and 8 years of progressive experience in the oil and gas industry.
Must have experience with the following:
1. Domain Skills in Oil & Gas Subsurface Geoscience, including geological and geophysical evaluation, seismic imaging and processing, and earth modeling/reservoir engineering;
2. Software engineering and development experience;
3. Oil and Gas Software Product management, marketing, and commercialization;
4. Remote sensing technologies, rendering and visualization technologies, statistics and data science, and their application in E&P; and
5. Experience in delivering technical presentations to customers and at conventions/trade shows.
