~~EXPERIENCE REQUIRED IN:
• P&ID development for instrumentation and control. Familiar with interlock and
continuous control logic development
• Knowledge and implementation of DCS and PLC systems
• Knowledge of wiring and installation of electrical equipment (up to 480VAC) and field instrumentation (installation details)
• Knowledge of Hazardous Area Classification for electrical selection
• Review Vendor drawings for specification compliance / system interface
• Prepare specifications and RFQ for field instrumentation and electrical equipment.
Calculate sizing for control valves and flow meters
Voltage drop calculations for cable selection
Lighting, Motor Control and panel calculations, sizing, and selection
Instrument design:
o Instrument index and instrument cable schedule
o Loop sheets and wiring diagrams
o Instrument location plans and installation details
o Control Room/Rack Room equipment arrangement drawings
o Control panel design
Electrical Design:
o Electrical plan drawings (power, lighting, grounding, cable tray)
o One Line Diagrams and electrical control schematics
• Interface with Operations, Vendors, and Contractors throughout design,
construction, and startup
COMPUTER SKILLS REQUIRED IN:
Microstation, SPI / INTools, Microsoft Office, Lotus Notes
