Insituform Technologies, LLC. is looking for an experienced Manufacturing Controller. The Manufacturing Controller provides exceptional financial analysis, reporting, planning and accounting support to Business Leadership of the Manufacturing platform.  This position could be located in either our Batesville, MS office or in or Chesterfield, MO office.

Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for managing two direct reports, Sr. Cost Accountant and Cost Accountant.
  • Responsible for directing the accounting practices and policies for the manufacturing and wet-out organizations
  • Manage the quarterly forecasting and annual planning processes for the manufacturing platform
  • Manage the month-end financial close activities for the manufacturing platform
  • Provide variance analysis, defining business implications and suggested actions
  • Direct financial modeling and analysis to evaluate capital projects, strategic initiatives and corporate development
  • Work in partnership with the leadership of the business unit to identify and drive profitability enhancements through operational efficiencies and cost saving opportunities.
  • Manage the internal and external audits. Ensure all internal controls are in place and compliant with U.S. GAAP.
  • Manage standard cost development, recommend new standard costs for raw material and manage the update of all costs once a year, or more frequently as required.
  • Serve as the point person for testing and overseeing new applications, processes, procedures and system security
  • Evaluate effectiveness of report portfolio and create/generate system reports as needed
  • Work with local IT personnel to identify and troubleshoot system issues



 
Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in finance or accounting plus five (5) to seven (7) years of related accounting experience or training and/or equivalent combination of education and experience. MBA is preferred
  • 5+ years of related manufacturing accounting experience is necessary
  • 5+ years experience with Cost Accounting is strongly preferred
  • Strong PC skills, with a particular emphasis on Excel is required
  • Operational experience with JD Edwards and Hyperion software is strongly preferred
  • Must be able to travel up to 25% or as needed
