Our Client is an Engineering & Construction company involved in Oil & Natural Gas projects. It is part of a global organization and has an opportunity for an experienced project controls scheduler/planner to be based in the Houston offices.

Job Duties


• Prepares and maintains engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning schedules

• Production of project schedule

• Preparation of project progress measurement tools and instruction on use to Superintendents

• Preparation of productivity tools and instruction on use to Superintendents

• Measurement and reporting of adherence to the schedule

• Report on progress and productivity using information gathered from Superintendents.

• Reporting of current schedule adherence and productivity in periodic reports to site, Client, and management.

• Work with Cost on earned value vs cost comparisons

• Produce scheduled vs actual progress analysis as required

• Report challenges to schedule completion as discovered



Essential Qualifications & Requirements:


• Thorough knowledge of and demonstrated experience in all aspects of cost engineering, estimating, planning and scheduling and management information activities.

• Construction and FEED experience is helpful but not mandatory

• Proficient with P6, MS Office

• Must have 8-10+ years' experience in Project Controls with emphasis on scheduling in the petrochemical and/or oil and gas/mining industries.

• Must have knowledge of personal computers and Project scheduling programs.
