**** RESUME/SUBMITTALS need to be focused in TAX ACCOUNTING AND REFLECT THE BELOW:
Our International client is seeking a Sr Tax Accountant for their Houston location who can apply best accounting practices along with Federal and State tax return support for our client.
Federal & State tax return support, including gathering data, preparing schedules, and coordinating with outside service providers for corporate income tax preparation.
Prepare federal and state tax estimates and extensions. Resolve and respond to tax notices. Gather data and prepare schedules for tax audits. Prepare Sales and Use tax for Texas, Louisiana, and Alabama. Maintain sales tax exemptions certificates. Assist the Accounts Payable team with the correct tax code application, including implementation and testing of sales tax jurisdiction as required. Prepare Bureau of Economic Analysis from BE-605 in quarterly basis. Monthly review of General ledger accounts related to specific income tax non-deductible items (Donation, company subscriptions, lobbying; meals and entertainment; etc.). Prepares and files miscellaneous tax reports, various personal property tax returns and business license filings. Prepare year end 1096 & 1042 compliance Prepare & file annual FBAR. Liaison with tax advisors as required Maintain US Tax information (on Sharepoint). Participate in Ad-hoc tasks as requested.
Application of Best Accounting practices.
Facilitate and complete monthly close procedures.
Prepare monthly Balance sheet accounts reconciliations- backup support and analysis. Post Cash transactions. Perform daily bank downloads in SAP- MT190. Perform daily bank reconciliations. Prepare weekly AR aging reporting. Prepare the Month end Long Term Cash Flow- LTCF. Prepare recurring JEs, Allocations JEs, Month end JE as need it

Minimum requirements
Minimum Bachelor Degree in Accounting 4 - 12 years progressively responsible experience in Tax Strong analytical and accounting skills CPA required SAP and Excel required Thorough understanding of GAAP | |||
