Position Summary
The Technical Manager will support current engineering and new product engineering needs for Subsea Asset Integrity’s operations.
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Lead and participate as a role model in Subsea Asset Integrity’s (SAI) safety program
  • Evaluate NDT technologies to identify new design opportunities for Subsea Asset Integrity
  • Manage internal and external engineering resources and technical support for SAI’s operation group
  • Coordinate and supervise personnel to provide engineering and technical support for local operations
  • Define work scopes for document design specifications for new designs and design changes
  • Establish and maintain work processes, instructions, and procedures that help drive safety, quality, cost and delivery improvements for SAI business
  • Review product designs for compliance with engineering principles
  • Manage work scope and associated project budgets
  • Manage local SAI tool development projects
  • Manage multiple engineering projects at one time
  • Client presentation support for Subsea AI business units
Qualifications

  • Bachelor in electrical or mechanical engineering with five (5) to ten (10) years of electrical or mechanical engineering experience.
  • ROV and/or Subsea equipment design and engineering experience as well as general knowledge of non destructive testing (NDT) techniques is preferred.
