
The Role:
The role of the Electrical Supervisor is to supervise and perform the electrical and electrical electronic maintenance activities involving trouble shooting, installation, preventive maintenance and repair of both sophisticated and elementary, power and electrical and electronic systems at the LNG plant facility. The Electrical Supervisor is responsible for adhering to technical and safety procedures, recognized standards and industry practices, and Company policies. The Electrical Supervisor will have approximately five (6) direct reports to maintain the facility, perform required maintenance activities and provide for reliable operation that complies with all safety, environmental and industry requirements and to schedule the daily work. This position has weekend duty and call-out responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
• Supervises all electrical and electrical electronic activities including, but no limited to, maintenance, modifications, and new installations during normal operations and turnarounds
• Solves operation, maintenance, and reliability problems as it relates to maintaining the plant equipment and power systems via repairs, modifications, or replacements of equipment
• Works closely with Daily Work Planner to prepare for and develop a work schedule. This includes, planning, procurement, prioritization, of plant work and backlog within the fiscal constraints of the plant budgets
• Develops and supervises the electrical preventive maintenance program.

• Develops electricians through the employee qualification program and skills development courses
• Performs other duties as assigned
Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Qualifications:
Education:
• Minimum of a high school diploma; Technical degree in electrical, or nationally recognized standard, ISA is preferred.
Experience:
Required:
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in electrical/power system maintenance.
• Experience in Relays/Switchgears/Transformers maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Experience in VFD power controls systems for Gas Turbines (GE)
• Supervisory experience.
Preferred:
• Experience in Liquefied Natural Gas production and/or natural gas processing
• Experience in heaving industrial, petrochemical, or refining
Skills/ Knowledge/ Abilities:
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
• Knowledge of budgeting, planning, and scheduling
• Good computer skills
