Responsibilities for the Estimating Department Manager include: Estimating Department Manager will establish and maintain the organization of the Estimating Department Estimating Department Manager will recruit and develop all Estimating Department personnel Estimating Department Manager will oversee and assist with the preparation of bids and technical proposals Estimating Department Manager will oversee the review, analysis, and selection of major subcontractors and supplier quotes Estimating Department Manager will establish and maintain beneficial relationships with Customers, Consultants, Subcontractors and Suppliers Requirements for the Estimating Department Manager include: BS degree in Marine Engineering or Naval Architecture preferred Advanced knowledge of estimating strategies and techniques Understanding of marine construction, marine terminology and contracts Minimum ten (10) years of experience in ship repair production and/or ship repair estimating Faststream has several other Estimating Department Manager positions open.
