Position Summary The Global Data Solutions Project Manager is responsible for the initiation, planning, implementation and execution of projects for the Global Data Solutions team. Our video and communications projects bring together a wide variety of advanced technology solutions to provide products and services to our clients and customers. Working with Network Engineering and Operation teams the project manager will lead project teams in a fast paced and dynamic environment. Duties & Responsibilities Interface with customers, both internal and external to the organization, to gather requirements. Manage commercial communications and video projects from beginning to end which includes developing project plans and associated project artifacts. Define project scope, goals and deliverables in collaboration with project stakeholders with the ability to quickly adjust with changing needs. Work with Network Engineering and Operations teams to identify tasks and responsibilities with appropriate personnel to complete the project. Set clear project expectations with Network Engineering and Operation teams by defining project tasks and resource requirements. Provide direction and support to project team. Develop and deliver progress reports, requirements documentation, and presentations for review by Management and Clients. Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team. Work with business development to create project budgets. Work with the Operations and Finance teams on Monthly Invoicing related to project activity. Ability to travel to onshore/offshore domestic and International project sites as required to ensure successful project completion. 10% travel required, primarily domestic onshore. Qualifications High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and a minimum of seven (7) years of practical experience working with WAN and LAN technologies as a Field Technician or Network Engineer and offshore oil & gas experience and minimum three (3) years previous experience working as a project manager. OR a Bachelor degree and minimum of three plus (3+) years of practical experience working with WAN and LAN technologies as a Field Technician or Network Engineer and offshore oil & gas experience and minimum three (3) years previous experience working as a project manager. Additional Information Experience with full line of Cisco Network Equipment including Voice, Video, Wireless, and Data Center.
