We are currently interviewing candidates for a Marine Superintendent contract role for one of our main clients in Houston. The main duty of this role is to represent the owner's interest in the final design and installation of a shipping dock facility. This dock will be constructed in an expansion of an existing marine facility currently in service.
Job Responsibilities:
- Dredging 2+ MM cubic yards of material for deposition offshore
- Construction of a docking facility with 4 loading arms, breasting and mooring dolphins and all instrumentation.
- Installation of shore line protection.
- Installation of a current diversion structure.
Minimum Requirements:
- 15+ years of experience in the marine facilities industry.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
- Supervisory Experience.
- Experience in reporting, and forecasting, contractor performance against budgets and schedules.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience in the gulf coast.
- Experience as owner's representative.
