Position Summary Individual should be able to work under minimal supervision to support the Controller, Assistant Controller and/or Accounting Manager in preparing, reporting or analyzing cost/performance of projects, balance sheet accounts, financial ratios and monthly schedules. Individual will perform various routine accounting functions on a daily basis and assist in internal and external audits or annual reporting requirements. Travel will be required for internal audits performed at other locations Individual will assist in the development and updating of internal policies, procedures, and audit plans. Individual errors will directly affect, to a minor degree, the overall financial reporting of ADTECH. Duties & Responsibilities Provide managerial support in the absence of the Accounting Manager, Assistant Controller & Controller or as needed. Responsible for various ADTECH Balance Sheet Accounts reconciliations as assigned. Have knowledge of various accounting clerk functions such as Time & Labor, Expense Reports, Match Exception Report, Accounts Payable, and Input of AR & Journals. Individual may have daily responsibilities in one or all of these functions and must be proficient in activities that are assigned Daily interfacing and communication with various Adtech remote offices, employees working offsite or other Oceaneering offices outside of Adtech. Support Sr. Accounting staff relating to the following activities. Audit requirements (Internal & External) Government reporting requirements Annual Plan Rolling forecast Financial Statements & Ratios (preparing entries & issuing statements) Misc. Schedules Inventory Reporting & Cycle Counts Support Wire Transaction Activities Qualifications Education: * B.A. in Accounting or equivalent required or equivalent years of experience. Experience: * One - three years experience in performance/cost measurement or financial analysis is required. Knowledge: * Working knowledge of Word, Excel and accounting software (Peoplesoft). Must possess good written and verbal communication skills and the ability to successfully interact with all levels of the Company and subcontractor organization. Must possess good analytical skills to computation and explain performance-based measurements to management. _Other Pre-requisites:_ Candidate will have to perform in an ISO-9000 rated company in a rapidly changing and demanding atmosphere U.S. Citizenship is required.
